Rick Danielson, general manager of Golf Ventures West, LLC located in San Diego, CA, has recently delivered a complete Jacobsen and E-Z-GO equipment package to the prestigious Diamante Golf Club located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Jacobsen is a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.

At the privately owned Diamante, you will find the Dunes course that will be celebrating its grand opening in October 2009. The course resembles a true seaside links designed by the famous David Love III. The resort will also boast luxurious golf villas in its beautiful tranquil tropical location.
The total package deal included ten Eclipse 122F hybrid models with TurfGroomers, four Greens King 526 walking greens mowers, two TR-3 trim mowers, five G-Plex III diesel riding greens mowers, two LF-3800 Turbo 4WD fairway mowers with TurfGroomers, three diesel Cushman Trucksters, one Cushman Spraytek utility vehicle, one Verticut 214 and two Greensaire 24 aerators, twelve ST-400 and two ST-4X4 E-Z-GO utility vehicles.
Bill Ousterhout, superintendent of Diamante, stated, “We have chosen Jacobsen and E-Z-GO to supply us with the equipment we needed for several reasons. First off, the equipment’s value pricing enabled me to purchase more equipment for the money then other competitive brands. The quality of Jacobsen’s Classic XP reels was also a deciding factor. Whether we are maintaining the fairways, greens or tees, we get the same quality of cut throughout the course. This is very important because we are maintaining a new fine bladed paspalum, SeaIsle Supreme in the entire course and it is a very aggressive grower.”
Bill was previously the superintendent at two other well known private courses, The Bridges Golf Club and The Farms Golf Club, both located in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. Through his career he has worked with Rick at GVW extensively.
