Turfwerks Strikes Deal to Keep Dakota Golf Orange

In the turf maintenance industry, customer satisfaction is measured by reliable product performance, superior service and exceeding high expectations – and there is no better gauge of success than repeat business. Long-time customer Dakota Golf Management recently reaffirmed their trust in Jacobsen and Turfwerks to deliver quality results for their properties with a deal that has delivered more than 25 new pieces of Jacobsen turf equipment to bolster a fleet that was already mostly orange.

Dakota Golf owns three golf courses, Elmwood, Kuehn Park, and Prairie Green, in and around the greater Sioux Falls area of South Dakota. With the help and hard work of Eric Nielsen, a Turfwerks territory manager, Dakota Golf and Turfwerks were able to agree on a lease program that makes it possible to maintain both new equipment and superior playing conditions at all three facilities.
“Turfwerks and Jacobsen have been partners with Dakota Golf for many years, and this deal helps to extend that relationship for many more,” Nielsen said. “The Dakota Golf courses demand top-quality service, equipment and parts, and together with Jacobsen we have always been able deliver on those expectations.”
The equipment arrived at the three courses in two different shipments, and all units were delivered and set up by the end of 2008. In all, the deal included eight G-Plex III greens mowers, four LF-3400 fairway mowers, two HR- 5111 wide area rotaries, two Turfcats, one HR-9016, an AR-522, and several Cushman Turf-Truckster and Hauler utility vehicles.
