PerformAire™ 60/80 VARIABLE-DEPTH AERATORS

Frequent aeration promotes healthier and more robust turf by allowing gas exchange at the roots and reducing soil compaction. Variable depth aeration with small solid tines or slicing blades allows you to aerate without disrupting play. The PerformAire 60 & 80 from Jacobsen are designed so that depth may be adjusted from the tractor seat even while aerating using the standard hydraulic top link - without compromising hole quality. This is because the ram adjusts the heads in an arc, so proper entry and exit angles are maintained for minimal surface disruption.

To maximize hole quality, we recommend that you select a tine length closest to the depth you want and use a lower ground speed.

  • Rear Finishing Roller Available: The rear roller is recommended when aerating very hard, dry surfaces, or where the root system is very shallow and weak. It provides a smoothing effect after the tines have been withdrawn, and eliminates or reduces the chances of surface puckering, tufting, or lifting of the turf when performing aeration under difficult circumstances.

Special Order: Allow for a 3 week lead time.

  • Tine Adapter Head with hardware: Mounts (8) 5/16" tines per arm. See number required at left for your model. Required to fit eight 5/16" tines per arm.
  • Slicer Head Adapter: Mounts to each arm and holds four 6" long V-shaped blades with 2.5" lateral spacing between blades (blades sold separately through Service Parts). Required to fit slicer blades.
  • Accessory Tool Package: This kit contains special tools needed to perform maintenance tasks on either model.
  • CE Kit: for PA 60 or PA 80 compliance to European Standards
